Kicked up the dust. "If you don't Run, you Rust"

I had a Big Weekend! Kicked up the dust.

What made it so good? Starting with the obvious, I played poker two nights in a row and won money both nights. Of course immediately spent that money on helping to pay for the party we hosted Friday and the second on Under Armour clothing today at the Factory Store.

The poker weekend began on the opening day of the World Series of Poker Main Event starting day, so I thought it was a nice coinscidience. Guess I made it to day two, since I survived Friday night up 20 bucks.
Even K played! She didn't fair too well, but none of the players did very well with explaining any of the rules. It was late and I know I was no good at articulating what she was asking, much less what she needed to know. (Some teacher I'm gonna be, huh? lol)
The second night she faired better; playing longer and receiving better tips for Sarah. Today, I finally answered one question though when I said, "Queen, Eight is the minimal cards I'll go in with. I have to have a good feeling about that marginal hand, but that's prolly my minimal bet" I was thanked and we continued on our way to the sticks, I mean out to Nat and Jeff's house.

So we get out to the Garage Hotel, say hello to the pups and we're off like a light to Under Armour in Baltimore. And when I saw off like a light, I mean we moved at the speed of sound.

Seems that we survived the blinding speed!
We found that the factory had been having a two-day sale so it was pretty bare, but well enough to grab a sweatshirt and some other crap that I don't own. (I know, amazing that I don't own something UA) I even got a water. New York's finest, I'm sure. lol

And on our day went.

Sushi this time. Not too shabby, but after the week I had with peanuts being in freakin' Mexican food, I was forced to ask about peanut in the sushi. Again, raw fish and peanuts. Yea right, right? Well again, I survived!! and it was good too!! Seems Nat has been going there for years!

From there, we drove on singing "I can't drive 155" ;) to our next destination on the walk down Natalie's yellowbrick road of growing up, through today....and onto the ice cream shop.
Now the cool thing was, this wasn't just any Baskin Robbin bullshit place. It had some class. I mean, you could order over the 31 flavors with werid combinations that I can't remember. I got a Grape Ice and I knew it was peanut-free because they bleached a scoop just for me! Yea, Nat knows the owner 'Mike' and he hooked it up. And I must say, fan-fucking-tastic!!

Was a great time. A great end of the weekend as we flew (see the speedometer picture) back to Garage Heaven. I went back to school work, but this was the beginning of K's evening. You'll need to check her blog but first......

One down side of the weekend:
A bitch was that Tom Petty's "Highway Companion" still hasn't shown in the mail, but the decision was made to make the purchase at our local Target. Amazing. Simply excellent, but you can read reviews all over the place. Just find a positive one and think about my saying "Ditto".
...............................
and for shits and giggles
Below is the Big Winner...
...Of the Best Impression of a Poker Player

*In other news, my buddy Scott helped me break through to the Pittsburgh crowd. Thanks!*
**The other day, I forgot to blog a nice word by someone I'm not known to read much. Loved his message though**
***And there must be a God as my speculation might actually pay off***

Finally, it appears I'm nervous for my boo, as I can't sleep as if I was the one starting a new job today. Good luck, baby! It'll be great. Shit, it's gotta be better than my normal bullshit. Speaking of, back to the paper with the Praxis coming Saturday. More on that and Other non-sense soon. For now...........

Holy crap, you ate ice cream at a place called "The Cow"

So awesome. If the ice cream's not good there, it shouldn't be good anywhere.

YEs yes The Cow has awesome all organic 'cream (ok Mike calls it custard, I call it fantabulous!) and all organic italian ice - and hell mix 'em together and get yourself a gelati! Blueberry with vanilla custard, pumpkin with chocolate custard, peanut butter with choclate (not for Brian), and coming soon pistachio...

Ok so the man kept me alive for 3 years of ice cream dinners at 10:00 at night after riding my horses, and I lost weight - I wonder if there is a correlation...

Any hoo - Bri had a great time and any time you want to break the sound barrier give me a shout!

Dagnice - you missed the bubbler and the mug of liquor (honeykbee's drink) but yes, you peeped out my friend's demise after a long night.

I-66 Hell yea it was good. See my friend's description. It's worth the trip to Baltimore, though I have no idea how to get there since we took many a back-road.

Nat - Such a good time. I had a big weekend ,,,,of fun and y'all were a big part of it. Thanks so much! I know needed it too
